Modern, digitally equipped hospitals have emerged as hotbeds of sensitive medical data. With the increasing digitalization of the healthcare sector, more and more medical data is being generated every day across the globe. In such a scenario, malicious actors have also risen to the surface, trying to take advantage of a sector still grappling with data-intensive technology. The onus is on hospitals, as the source and keeper of data, to protect it from getting into the wrong hands.
