Interest growing in Windows To Go: Imation

Windows To Go devices are a growing business for Imation Mobile Security, business development manager Elizabeth Parsons told iTWire.

VDI and Windows To Go should be seen as complementary technologies not competitors, according to Imation Mobile Security general manager for Asia Pacific Sven Radavics.

Imation has joined the ranks of storage manufacturers offering devices certified for use with Windows To Go. The company has also announced the rebranding of its mobile security business.

One of the features of Windows 8 that is more useful to enterprise users is Windows To Go, which allows a computer to boot into Microsoft's new operating system from a USB stick.
