Windows To Go is a feature of Windows 8 Enterprise that allows a USB storage device as the boot device for practically any PC capable of running Windows 7 or 8. The idea is that employees can use such a device in conjunction with a borrowed or privately-owned computer yet run the organisation's approved environment.
Although thumb drives have been getting bigger, it can be difficult to squeeze in all the programs and that a particular user may need.
So WD has launched the $129 My Passport Enterprise, one of the first portable hard drives designed for use with Windows To Go.
