Nvidia has released two new Shield TV models in Australia

American giant CBS has swooped on Channel 10 and snapped up the troubled business ahead of billionaires Lachlan Murdoch and Bruce Gordon who were, until Monday, considered a shoo-in.

Televison broadcaster Network Ten has selected a cloud-based ad insertion and stream stitching solution  from Brghtcove to power the Apple TV and Sony Bravia apps of its catch up service, tenplay.

Channel Ten's Tenplay service is now available for Android users, after it was first available for iOS, Bravia televisions, Xboxes, and basically every other platform in existence.

tenplay is in line to be the first local TV catch-up service on Xbox One.

Channel Ten has officially launched its newest catch-up TV app, Tenplay, taking on rivals Channel 7 and ABC along with popular US services like Netflix and Hulu.
