US laptop ban lifted for all but one airport

US airport pat-downs to get more 'invasive'

Pat-downs at US airports are about to get a little more intrusive from now on, with a Transportation Security Administration spokesman saying they aimed to be more "comprehensive".

The Telecommunications Society of Australia has issued a 'call to arms' to the industry to "identify and address current NBN policy opportunities, in order to maximise the benefits of the services delivered via the NBN infrastructure and to encourage investment in new, innovative and beneficial services."

And the Meek Shall Inherit The World

The latest TSA stupidity is quite breathtaking.  They’ll demand ID at the security checkpoint, but if you complain and refuse, you’ll be denied access to the departure gates.  Those who gently explain that they left their wallet at home will be let through with some increased screening.
