Finally, the confluence of the quintessential video-game version of warfare and the most popular table-top version of warfare come together with Total War: Warhammer

Yakuza has been a franchise struggling for support outside of Japan.  Not through lack of great game design but rather the struggle of promotion and localisation costs has held back Yakuza from making it big in the West.  On the eve of E3 however, SEGA has made it known it will be pushing Yakuza 4 right from the get-go.

The original Shogun: Total War, based on Sun Tzu's The Art of War was a milestone game from developer The Creative Assembly.  Today publisher SEGA announced the return of the Total War series to its feudal Japanese roots with Shogun 2: Total War.
