Stephen Conroy, Federal Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, has branded his Opposition counterpart "a complete Luddite." The Opposition continues to delay telecommunications reform legislation.

Shadow Minister slams NBN 'incompetence'

Shadow Minister for Broadband Communications and the Digital Economy Nick Minchin has blasted as "incompetence and mismanagement" the appointment of McKinsey-KPMG as lead advisor to the National Broadband Network (NBN) implementation study.

The Opposition’s desires to see the NBN (National Broadband Network) report released publicly seem to have been dashed by the Minister for Communication’s latest statement, which says the report has been received, but won’t be released to anyone else.

Ready to munch on the findings of the Expert Panel’s NBN report is one Senator Nick Minchin, the Shadow Minister for Broadband, who is pre-ripping into the Rudd Labor Government over the release (or otherwise) of the NBN recommendations.
