Azyan Telecom has commissioned flat panel satellite antenna company Kymeta’s Hawk u8 terminals connected by OneWeb, bringing low earth orbit offering in Oman for the first time.
Kymeta, a global mobile communications company, and Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, a national security and space solutions provider, announced a strategic partnership to jointly develop products and solutions that will enable modern, virtualised ground systems to better leverage the capabilities of next generation mobile satellite antennas.
Kymeta’s electronically steered flat-panel antenna technology can form two distinct full duplex beams for connection redundancy and intelligent data management.
Mobile satellite and telecommunications company Inmarsat has partnered with Honeywell Aerospace and antenna development company Kymeta, to develop a higher-speed, Ka-band wireless antenna, which they say will bring high quality, faster connectivity broadband services to smaller aircraft in the business aviation market.
