AI’s Major Impact on Data Centres
In a recent OpEd, Joe Craparotta of Schneider Electric identified many of the challenges faced by data centres as the use of AI skyrockets. Here are a few of his (lightly edited) thoughts.

Astrid Groves returns to Schneider Electric in new role
Energy management and automation provider Schneider Electric has appointed Astrid Groves as general manager of IT and Edge in a move it says is designed to drive the business’s edge solutions offering and support the company’s channel partners for the Secure Power division.

Leading Edge kicks off data centre build in Mayfield West
Leading Edge Data Centres has begun construction of a new data centre in Mayfield West in NSW, with the company claiming it would create jobs, add needed network infrastructure to the area and boost the digital economy in Newcastle and the greater Hunter region.
