April a big month for Microsoft security updates

It's a busy month for Windows administrators, as Microsoft has released eight security bulletins addressing more than 20 vulnerabilities. Five of the bulletins are rated 'critical'.

U.S. announces space station concept 25 years ago

Twenty-five years ago, on January 25, 1984, President Ronald Reagan announced in his State of the Union Address the plan of the United States to build a permanently manned space station "within the decade."

The Iranian National Space Agency (ISA) intends to send Iranian astronauts into space within ten years. The announcement was made only days after Iran blasted a rocket into space as a test for its first domestically made satellite it hopes to launch sometime in the “near future.”
