Why intelligent automation fails

GUEST OPINION: While most organisations have been migrating towards digital transformation for some time, the events of the past few years propelled them further down the path at breakneck speed. With the challenges that lie ahead, intelligent automation (IA) is an increasingly attractive option, but to use it to build a competitive advantage, you need to back it up with the right approach.

According to AlphaBeta, intelligent automation is expected to deliver up to $2.2 trillion in economic benefits to Australia by 2030. Not only that, but automation has been cited to be the single most considerable opportunity to grow Australia’s wellbeing in decades.  

Internet Australia, the peak body representing Internet users, says it has offered to assist the Federal Government’s Digital Transformation Office in the interest of eliminating the country's ‘Digital Divide’.
