High Court reinstates $2 million TPG penalty

The High Court has allowed an appeal by the ACCC over TPG’s misleading ‘Unlimited ADSL2+’ advertisements. TPG must pay the $2 million fine.

High Court says Optus can’t rescreen footy

Optus has been denied leave in the High Court of Australia to appeal against a Federal Court decision which said its rebroadcasting of live sports through is TV Now service was illegal.

Assange granted technical leave to appeal

Wikileaks founder, Julian Assange has been granted the right of appeal to the Supreme Court of the UK against his impending extradition to Sweden. Of the two grounds cited in the request for leave to appeal, one was accepted for further consideration, the other rejected.
