Now researchers at Duke University in the US have developed a 50 gigapixel camera that they say could lead to gigapixel cameras becoming a consumer product within five years.

Nokia Australia has decided to focus on its Lumia range of Windows Phone 7.5 devices and not sell the Nokia PureView 808 in the ANZ region, leaving those interested to wait for future models – or seek the revolutionary 41 megapixel smartphone via grey or direct import channels instead.
