Australia’s only would-be commercial satellite operator has hit the wall and been placed into administration after it was revealed that French Government-owned creditor COFACE has withdrawn a major portion of the funding for the US$650 million project to put the Jabiru-1 satellite into space.

U.S. and Europe may explore Moon together

The European Space Agency (ESA) and the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) just finished a six-month assessment (in July 2008) of possible projects the two space agencies could team up on for future exploration of the Moon and establishment of lunar outposts.
