Alcatel OneTouch has simply become Alcatel

Alcatel OneTouch has changed its name to just Alcatel. The move makes sense because there are many Alcatel companies operating in the enterprise space! Its mobile phones are now 100% Consumer focused devices.

Has HP sold Palm brand to Alcatel Onetouch?

A report from webOS Nation suggests HP has sold the Palm brand to a shelf company which appears to be owned by Alcatel Onetouch, or rather its owners, Chinese phone maker TCL.
