COMPANY NEWS: Entrust, a global leader in trusted payments, identities, and data, has announced the general availability of its Post-Quantum Ready PKI-as-a-Service (PKIaaS PQ) platform. With this launch, the company’s cloud-based PKI as a Service offering now can provide both composite and pure quantum-safe certificate authority hierarchies, enabling customers to test or implement quantum-safe scenarios and infrastructure. This makes it the first commercially available platform of its type.

An intrusion campaign which targets monitoring software from the French company CENTREON has been reported to have breached several French institutions between late 2017 and 2020. The systems that were hit were running CentOS, a free version of Red Hat's Enterprise Linux distribution.
