Safeguard Global expands in Australia

By

Workforce management technology company Safeguard Global expands its operations with a new team in Australia to support companies in scaling their international workforce.

Safeguard Global says organisations are looking for more flexible ways of hiring and working and need to adjust their strategies to combat skills shortage and meet the “Work in Any Way" demands.

“The future of work is about creating Work in Any Way experiences, which diversify not just where but how and when people work. Safeguard Global’s solutions enable flexibility in how companies expand their businesses and the types of work experiences they provide. That's a competitive advantage,” comments SafeGuard Global CEO and chief guardian Bjorn Reynolds.

Amidst the pandemic, the Australian Industry Group (AIG) found 73% of Australian CEOs expect to have difficulty and retaining skilled labour in 2022.

As more companies recognise the need to adapt, global employer of record (EOR) services provide the opportunity to hire anywhere in the world quickly and compliantly, fuelling business growth.

“In today’s dynamic and challenging business landscape, the companies that will succeed are those that adopt a global talent strategy to support both local and international growth. Safeguard Global is expanding its presence in Australia at a critical time, when border restrictions have lifted yet many industries are facing crippling talent shortages and skilled migration is anticipated to remain at low levels,” comments Safeguard Global country manager ANZ Jonathan Perumal.

“Part of our long-term vision is to bring our market expertise to every region, and we have spent the last few years building our expertise in APAC. With over 150 Australian workers already employed by international companies through Safeguard Global, we’re thrilled to be setting up operations in Australia to support local orgainsations’ ability to recruit and hire the best talent in the world,” Reynolds concludes.

Safeguard Global solution Global Employment Outsourcing (GEO) provides the infrastructure to help companies compliantly hire employees anywhere in the world.

With access to a large pool of local labour market insights and in-country HR and employment experts, clients can make overseas hiring decisions at speed knowing that Safeguard Global will manage the risk and execution.
