EHC is Dell EMC's engineered solution for hybrid clouds, and VxRail is the company’s hyper-converged infrastructure.
Dell EMC VxRail appliances are the only hyperconverged infrastructure appliances using VMwas vSAN. More than 8000 VxRail nodes have been sold (representing 65 petabytes of storage and 100,000 cores) to more than 1000 customers.
The availability of Dell EMC EHC on VxRail appliances will allow organisations to start small and grow as their demand for hybrid cloud services expands.

“Seeking innovative new ways to test and deploy workloads, organisations in Australia and New Zealand are increasingly looking to hybrid cloud models as a way of achieving their IT and business objectives," said Dell EMC converged platforms and solutions APJ chief technology officer Matt Oostveen.
"VxRail with EHC helps organisations reach these objectives by greatly simplifying the complexity of designing, building and maintaining their own hybrid cloud.”
451 Research research director Henry Baltazar said “With the hyper-converged infrastructure market growing relatively rapidly over the last few years, Dell EMC has grown its own presence with last year’s introduction and subsequent customer adoption of VxRail appliances.
"As customers are increasingly ramping-up their HCI deployments, hybrid cloud is the next obvious destination. This makes the combination of Dell EMC Enterprise Hybrid Cloud and VxRail a worthy solution for consideration.”
Dell EMC Enterprise Hybrid Cloud with Dell EMC VxRail appliances are expected to ship at the end of March 2017.
