Business SaaS provider Zoho has launched an application known as Orchestly as part of its release of the new version of Zoho One, its business operating system.

The new application can be used for managing business workflow so that users can create, manage, and optimise business processes through a drag-and-drop interface.

A statement from the company said about a quarter of Zoho One users were using more than 25 applications on the platform while half were running 16 applications or thereabouts.

Zoho One launched with 35 applications and within two years, it has added 10 more. It also has a number of built-in services including artificial intelligence, business intelligence, messaging, and search.

"Technology is supposed to help businesses. Instead, it has evolved into a complex beast customers have to tame – from juggling apps from multiple vendors to trying to solve the multi-app integration puzzle to dealing with vendors forcing customers into expensive, lengthy contracts,” said Raju Vegesna, Zoho's chief evangelist.

“The technology industry has gone too far down this path and this has to change.

"With Zoho One, we want to change all of that. It's a technology platform to run your entire business with a vendor that is easy to do business with and you can trust. With Zoho One, you are not just licensing technology. You are licensing peace of mind."

Zoho One is priced at US$30 per employee or US$75 per user. The company is headquartered in Austin, Texas and has its international headquarters in Chennai, India.
