Tuesday was the 12th anniversary of the release of the video.
It shows an attack by an American helicopter in the Iraqi suburb of New Baghdad which ends up in the death of a dozen people and two Reuters news staff.
A statement from WikiLeaks on Tuesday said the military did not release details of the killings, saying it was unaware of how children had suffered injuries.
Reuters demanded to know the truth but an investigation by the US military said the troops acted in accordance with the law of armed conflict and its own 'Rules of Engagement'.
"WikiLeaks obtained this video as well as supporting documents from a number of military whistleblowers," the group said.

"WikiLeaks wants to ensure that all the leaked information it receives gets the attention it deserves.
"In this particular case, some of the people killed were journalists who were simply doing their jobs: putting their lives at risk in order to report on war.
"Iraq is a very dangerous place for journalists: from 2003- 2009, 139 journalists were killed while doing their work."
The order to extradite Assange is expected to be issued on 20 April, after which it will go to British Home Secretary Priti Patel for approval.
Assange's lawyers have until 18 May to make submissions arguing against the extradition.
