Ms Peterschlingmann was among more than 375 nominations for the awards, spanning partner, vendor and distributor businesses around Australia.

Starting out as a web developer in 2007, Peterschlingmann has grown Brisbane-based ATech to become a leading mission-critical cloud hosting and web development company with multimillion dollar revenues.

ATech specialises in systems requiring scalability, high availability and robust cyber security, and has built and hosted websites and web apps for organisations including Virgin Australia, Brisbane City Council, Seqwater and Airservices Australia.

This year WIICTA housed the largest celebration of female excellence within the technology channel across Australia at Jones Bay Wharf, Doltone House in Sydney.

Ms Peterschlingmann said, “I am delighted to be named a winner of the ARN Women in ICT Awards.

“The Entrepreneur Award recognises an enterprising candidate with a risk-taking mentality, honouring excellence in launching new ventures, products or services. The individual has a proven background in building innovation from the ground up, evident through converting market-leading ideas into viable business offerings. It is a huge compliment."

Following an intensive judging process — selected by an executive panel of more than 170 industry judges — 21 winners were selected across eight categories, in addition to five highly commended acknowledgements.
