energyOS, an energy Software as a Service company, announced its “leading digital energy services platform, eOs”, is now available on AWS Marketplace, “a curated digital catalogue that makes it easy for Amazon Web Services (AWS) customers to find, test, buy, and deploy third-party software that runs on AWS.”
According to the company, this will allow “utility companies to support their climate change initiatives by purchasing and implementing clean energy capabilities.”
The software’s availability on the AWS Marketplace was driven by “energyOS’s strong customer growth in Australia”, where customers are increasingly seeking a provider that can offer digital engagement, product support, distributed, and clean energy capabilities.

This helps energyOS reach a global market with its digital clean energy science for AWS customers and consulting partners.
Stephen Kubicki, CEO, energyOS, says: “energyOS shares AWS' commitment to sustainability through digital engagement and clean energy. With eOS available on AWS Marketplace, it's easier for power utilities worldwide to find support in the transition to clean energy.”
Kubicki says the company can “focus on bringing the science of clean energy digital services to the market.”
To coincide the launch of eOS, energyOS is introducing a tariff and rate optimiser solution to encourage smart metre adoption among consumers.
Using the Tariff Optimiser, consumers can receive new rate recommendations based on existing metre readings, helping to provide cost savings and overcoming a significant hurdle to smart metre adoption.
“We are pleased AWS is energyOS’ cloud provider of choice and thrilled their products are now available on AWS Marketplace for electricity companies looking for a digital energy platform”, remarks Sarah Bassett, Head of Western and South Australia, Natural Resources, AWS Australia and New Zealand.
“AWS is committed to running our business in the most environmentally friendly way possible, and we work with our customers and partners to enable them to be sustainable, and increase their energy efficiency using cloud technology”, she adds.
“As an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, the ability to bring next-generation cloud-native clean energy platforms like eOS to our clients is invaluable. Having eOS on AWS Marketplace streamlines the entire procurement and billing experience”, concludes Preeti Bajaj, CEO, Modis Australia.
