Security vendor WatchGuard Technologies has announced four new endpoint security modules for WatchGuard Cloud.

The new modules are WatchGuard Patch Management, WatchGuard Full Encryption, WatchGuard Advanced Reporting Tool (ART), and WatchGuard Data Control.

WatchGuard Patch Management helps keep Windows and hundreds of third-party applications up to date, reducing the attack surface.

WatchGuard Full Encryption provides central controls and management of Windows' BitLocker feature.

WatchGuard Advanced Reporting Tool (ART) delivers detailed information about the day-to-day operation of applications, networks, and users, with pre-defined queries, dashboards, and alerts on endpoints out of the box. Custom queries and alerts can be created.

WatchGuard Data Control (currently only available in certain European countries) discovers, audits, and monitors unstructured sensitive or personal data on endpoints – at rest, in use, and in motion.

“WatchGuard continues to deliver on its vision of our unified security platform that enables MSPs to offer a comprehensive set of enterprise-grade security services to protect businesses of all sizes,” said WatchGuard senior vice president of product management Andrew Young.

“The addition of these new endpoint modules not only dramatically simplifies the management of our endpoint security portfolio for MSPs, but provides them with new cross-sell and up-sell revenue opportunities as well.”
