Earlier this year, Seagate announced its Surveillance HDD range - hard drives designed for storing surveillance video, and including data recovery services.
The company has now announced that the Seagate Rescue service is available in Australia.
The service provides data recovery following physical damage, corruption or accidental deletion in return for an optional upfront payment. No indication was given of the cost, other than that it is "a fraction of the cost of data recovery services purchased after the event."
