Mobotix has announced three new surveillance cameras, the S15, D15 (pictured above) and V15, all featuring 5MP sensors allowing up to QXGA resolution - "2.5 times higher than full HD" according to company officials.
Low-light performance has also been improved: "The light sensitivity of the overall image quality is up to four times better, which enhances the overall image quality in for instance bad weather conditions and in the dark," said Mobotix founder Ralf Hinkel.
The new sensor also allows the maximum zoom to increase by 27% for colour and 200% for black-and-white, and the cameras can now deliver video streams at up to 30 fps.
