McCann returns to Kaseya as regional GM

By

Software company Kaseya has appointed Dermot McCann to the role of senior vice president and general manager for APAC.

"McCann's deep regional expertise and relationships combined with his ability to grow and scale technology organisations made him a great fit for this role, and we're thrilled he's back on our team," said Kaseya COO Fred Voccola.

"We have ambitious plans in the region, and we're confident that McCann will provide our current APAC partners with an increased level of support while helping us grow our presence in key markets."

McCann more than 25 years of experience in the world of IT, most recently as managing director and co-founder of Promysys.

He previously founded and led Priviti, worked as NSW director at Optus, and served for five years as Kaseya's ANZ managing director.

Earlier in his career McCann worked for IBM (including a stint as general manager of IBM Security), Logicalis and American Express.

He holds an honours degree in computer science from the University of Brighton (UK) and a Master of Business and Technology from the University of New South Wales.

"I'm looking forward to building on my previous work as well as the incredible efforts of the team in APAC, which has positioned Kaseya as a true market leader," said McCann. "I look forward to strengthening our partner relationships as well as providing more MSPs and SMBs with the comprehensive, integrated solutions they need to scale their businesses."
