Symons joins Intelematics after spending 12 years at Optus, most recently as strategy and architecture manager for Optus Business..
He previously owned ITSM Partnership, and worked as an ITSM consultant at Queensland Health, as a solution architect with HP, and as a senior software engineer at LeadUp Australia and CiTR.

Symons holds a PhD in computer systems engineering from the University of Queensland.
