Humphreys has extensive experience of advising ASX-listed companies and boards on compliance, governance and complex transactions.
She joins Canopy Tools from law firm Gilbert and Tobin, where she worked as a senior lawyer specialising in providing advice on complex merger and acquisition transactions, capital raisings and corporate governance matters.
Humphreys worked on secondment to United Malt as acting general counsel and to the Australian Takeovers Panel as a lawyer.

Earlier in her career she worked as a corporate lawyer at Minter Ellison.
Humphreys holds a bachelor's degree in political science and government from the University of California Berkeley, a double degree (Arts/Law) from the University of Queensland, and a graduate diploma of legal practice from the College of Law.
