The company has announced four new technical management appointments as well as boosting its marketing and account management team with two other appointments.
ATech Managing Director of ATechnology Sarah-Jane Peterschlingmann, announced the four senior technical appointments:
• Oliver Kelly – IT Infrastructure & Network Consultant

Kelly has experience in infrastructure project engineering and project delivery, technical analysis and consultation, and technical solution design, with nine years working in the IT industry. Prior to joining ATech, Kelly was a Lead Infrastructure Engineer at Virgin Australia and also worked in the Office of Information Strategy and technology for the Department of Education and Training Queensland
• Christopher Gillis – Senior Web Developer
Gillis brings to ATechnology web development skills including Drupal and experience with social media. He will provide web development services for ATech’s clients
Prior to joining ATech, Gillis was the Online Marketing Manager at Visual Obsession. His experience over more than a decade includes lecturing and marketing
• Nick Weedon – Senior Software Engineer
Weedon brings specialist software engineering skills to ATech to provide development services for some of the company’s high level projects
Prior to joining ATech, Weedon was Senior Software Engineer at Leica Geosystems, and has experience over 14 years in the IT industry in Senior Software Engineer or IT Developer roles for organisations including Vasco Data Security, POS Works, SEMA Group and Education Queensland
• Kate Grainger – Senior Information Developer
Grainger is responsible for creating information development strategies to improve business value to ATech’s customers
Previously Grainger, with 10 years industry experience, was an Information Development consultant, with prior roles including Content Author Team Lead for Red Hat and Information Development Team Lead for IBM.
Peterschlingmann also announced the appointment of Isaac Roberts to the newly created role of Marketing Manager and Elisabeth Irons as Accounts Manager responsible for accounts payable and receivable.
Previously Roberts consulted to a range of international and services organisations including Fortune 100 companies, Irons has a background in real estate, property management and managing trust accounts, while Irons has been appointed Accounts Manager responsible for accounts payable and receivable.
Peterschlingmann said Christopher Rollinson has been appointed Junior Web Developer.
“We have experienced phenomenal growth recently and anticipate a similar rate of growth in the future," Peterschlingmann said.
“These latest new hires are in response to customer demand. Nearly all of our clients have come by word of mouth and we are now getting enquiries from international companies in the USA, Japan and Thailand.
“Our unusual business model means we attract candidates of a very high calibre. Everyone works remotely so our team meetings are via web conferences. This means we can confidently interact using the same mechanisms with our international clients."
