Huawei bonds in Bondi

By

Shoppers at Westfield Bondi Junction in Sydney have the chance to learn how to pronounce Huawei and see a little more of what the global giant does.

Huawei has set up a ‘Connected Home’ highlighting the Ascend range of phablets and smartphones, its home networking Wi-Fi AC routers and Media Q video streaming hub, and enterprise level switching and communications.

Leveraging its sporting sponsorship Sydney Roosters and Swans players are ‘manning up’ the stand – more at Huawei’s Facebook page.

Huawei Australia Account Director, Geison Jiao said, “This is a great opportunity for Australians to have a hands-on experience of Huawei’s latest and show its business goes well beyond smartphones.”

“Huawei wants to broaden our Devices business in Australia to include solutions for small to medium enterprises, opening up the doors to new channel partners. This experience centre will show users the direction Huawei Devices technology is moving to. With a range of new devices including modem routers and repeaters, healthcare systems, machine-to-machine (M2M) devices and home security solutions, Huawei will seek to broaden its range of channel partners and system integrators to bring the new devices to market” Mr Jiao said.

The display is open until Sunday 6 October.
