NBN locks in maintenance contracts

NBN Co has announced a range of new installation and maintenance contracts worth $142 million which it says will create 2000 new jobs across Australia. They will also make it more difficult for a future coalition government to unravel NBN commitments.

NBN Co picks Transfield for Victoria FTTH rollout

NBN Co has signed an agreement valued at $133m for the large-scale deployment of the NBN in Victoria with Transfield Services.

900 Sanctuary Cove homes get FTTH services

A consortium of three companies - Universal Communications Group (UCG), Telcoinabox and Utilibill formed in 2009 - has completed the installation of an FTTH network to 900 'brownfield' homes in the Sanctuary Cove development on Queensland's Gold Coast.
