There are simply not enough people with the required cyber specialisms to carry out the work in this high-growth sector. Australia’s 2020 Cyber Security Strategy highlighted this issue, and the Government committed millions of dollars via the Cyber Security National Workforce Growth Program to address the skills shortage.
