Late last week Apple finally released a security update for Mac OS X that includes a patched version of the BIND DNS software. In all, there were a dozen patches released including the potentially serious BIND fix.

PDF becomes an international standard

Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF) has become an international standard - ISO 32000-1 - following a decision by Adobe to relinquish control to the International Standards Organisation.

So, Corel has launched its latest version of WordPerfect Office. What have they done to make it better than Office 2007, better than the free Open Office, and better than web apps like Google Docs?
