A major publisher is making its secondary school textbooks available on Acer's Iconia Tab tablets.
Rather than push a dedicated ebook reader, Australian bookseller Dymocks has chosen to follow the tablet route. The company has begun selling the Acer Iconia tablet at selected stores, and offers a free Android app for buying and reading ebooks from its catalogue.
Acer is introducing 10 and 7-inch Android Honeycomb tablets, a new detachable Windows tablet and the new dual-screened Windows tablet in its battle to capture significant tablet market share.
