Report claims SUSE may be considering an IPO in 2021

Germany open source provider SUSE will go in for an initial public offering next year, the American news service Bloomberg reports, adding that its owner, Swedish private equity firm EQT, is already consulting advisers about the listing.

SUSE Linux gets fourth owner in 15 years

Germany-based SUSE Linux has gone through its fourth sale in the last 15 years, with the new owner, Swedish growth investor EQT, having acquired the company from current owner, Britain's Micro Focus, for US$2.535 billion, with the UK firm using the proceeds to repay part of its existing debt.
