Stating the move "significantly expands driver earning potential" for Australian DiDi driver-partners as it delivers access to thousands of Chinese DiDi users in Australia, Chinese DiDi roaming has arrived.
Chinese ride-sharing company DiDi and the AFL have jointly announced that it will be "the Official Rideshare Partner of the 2018 Toyota AFL Grand Final", and "give new riders who download the app a gift pack worth over $100".
DiDi bills itself as "the world's leading mobile transportation platform" and will officially launch its core ride-sharing service, DiDi Express, in Melbourne this month, representing "a new milestone in global growth".
