An Australian-Chinese study shows that eating fresh or dried mushrooms and drinking green tea can decrease the risk of breast cancer in women. The study was conducted in China where the incidence of breast cancer is about five times less than those in Western countries.

Deadly mutated breast cancer gene discovered

Mutations in the metadherin (MTDH) gene have been found to increase the risk of the various forms of breast cancer, according to U.S. researchers from Princeton University and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
