NASA says omega-3 may reduce bone loss

A team of NASA researchers found that omega -3 may help to reduce bone loss and muscle atrophy during long periods of weightlessness for astronauts. The study also points to the benefit of omega-3 as a countering agent for osteoporosis in people on Earth.

STS-130 astronauts are not tranquil

NASA astronauts onboard the International Space Station (ISS) are having a problem with the newly installed Tranquility node. An insulating cover is not fitting properly due to an obstructing structure at the hatch.
