New organisation to serve all technology workers

A new body, the Australian Consensus Technology Association (ACTA), has been formed to represent and serve professionals working in all branches of technology.

Pirate Party Australia is seeking Australian Electoral Commission registration to contest the next Federal election.  Eye patches are optional.

The latest round of the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement negotiations have wrapped up in South Korea.  Amongst other things, if successful in their present form, the internationally agreed rules would completely sideline the iiNet case currently before the Australian courts.
