Australia’s audio pioneer, BlueAnt, have reinvented the workout audio experience with the launch of its latest over-ear headphones: the Pump X.
Designed and engineered for gymgoers and the everyday user alike, the Pump X packs a punch with 40mm dynamic drivers and X-mode for those needing that extra burst of intensity. The workout and fitness-optimised design combines sweat resistance, a secure-yet-comfortable fit, robust construction, and a bit of bling with a choice of three colour combinations to suit the personal aesthetic of the active gymgoer.
Its one-touch control panel makes it simple to adjust volume between sets, and with an IP54 splashproof/sweatproof rating it is built to withstand the most sweltering of workouts. Featuring 35dB of Active Noise Cancellation and 34hrs playtime with ANC on, the Pump X will be available for as long as the user is. Each Pump X comes with both Everyday memory foam ear pads and cooling gel ear pads, which can be easily swapped out to suit the moment or replaced quickly through BlueAnt.
The audio engineering experts at BlueAnt have made no compromises on either form or function in the creation of the Pump X, according to CEO Taisen Maddern.
“We know that over-ear headphones need to cater to an active lifestyle which means it needs to be rugged and resistant to elements – but those shouldn’t come at the cost of the audio experience, which it often does,” said Maddern. “That’s not the case with the Pump X, which was designed with flare and built with precision. Combining Audio Expertise with Superior Functional Form and Design
The Pump X is built to suit everyday use and the gym alike, with ANC to enable focus but transparency mode to hear surroundings when needed. And while 34 hours playtime (with ANC on) or 58 hours (ANC off) means battery should be the least of the wearer’s worries, just 10 minutes charge will provide an additional four hours (ANC on) or six hours (ANC off).
The Pump X supports multiple playback options (Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C Audio) and features four mics to ensure crystal clear clarity on calls anywhere: in the gym, on the train or teleconferencing. And with a simple folding design and carry pouch with a hook, BlueAnt has ensured the Pump X is the only pair of headphones the everyday Aussie needs.
