HyperX announces 300-hour wireless headset plus more

HyperX, the number one PC gaming headset brand in US retail, today announced a range of new products including the HyperX Cloud Alpha wireless headset with an astonishing 300-hour battery life, as well as a new keyboard, mouse, pink headset, Android-based gaming controller, and a new Cloud Core headset.

HyperX made the announcements during CES 2022 in Las Vegas today. The company has been providing gaming products for almost 20 years and intrinsically associated with esports since 2002. It was acquired by HP in 2021.

The new products announced are:

HyperX Cloud Alpha wireless headset

This is the new HyperX flagship headset, to be made available during the first half of 2022 at $USD 199.99.

At 300 hours, this will be the wireless gaming headset with the longest-lasting battery life available. Features include

  • DTS Headphone:X 3D spatial audio for realism and precision audio while gaming, music, and entertainment
  • 2nd gen patented dual-chamber drivers add a level of clarity by separating the bass from the mids and highs to create an immersive audio experience
  • Similar weight to previous models, despite the longer battery life
  • Detachable noise-cancelling mic with LED status indicator
  • Compatible with PS4 and PS5 as well as PC

Cloud Alpha Wireless Headset

 

HyperX Cloud II - pink

This new headset comes in pink, the most requested colour from HyperX fans on social media. Features include

  • Virtual 7.1 surround sound
  • Advanced audio control box
  • Signature HyperX comfort
  • Durable aluminium frame
  • 53mm drivers
  • Detachable noise cancellation mic
  • Multi-platform compatible

It is expected to be available in February 2022 at $USD 99.99.

This new edition of the Cloud Core entry-level PC headset is a simplified version of the Cloud headset

It is expected to be available in February 2022 at $USD 69.99.

HyperX alloy origins 65 keyboard

This new keyboard comes in at a 65% form factor, to appeal to those looking for more desktop space without sacrificing functionality or the convenience of dedicated arrow keys. Features include

  • fun colour variation, with red and aqua coloured HyperX Switch versions to match the unique laser-etched Esc and Space keys
