BlackBerry adds Good Dynamics to Azure

By

BlackBerry's Good Dynamics secure mobility platform is now available on Microsoft Azure.

The range of BlackBerry software available for deployment on Azure has expanded with the addition of the Good Dynamics secure mobility platform.

Good Dynamics enables the secure mobile use of a range of business applications.

"With BlackBerry's Good Dynamics now on the Microsoft Azure platform, we continue to help protect customers' data and enhance our ecosystem of business-critical apps," said Microsoft corporate vice-president, developer experience and evangelism and chief evangelist, Steve Guggenheimer.

"As we work side-by-side with Microsoft we are providing customers with a breadth of new options to enhance and increase their mobile security," said BlackBerry executive vice-president, enterprise product and value added solutions, Billy Ho.

"By utilising Good Dynamics through the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, customers have more flexibility in their deployment of BlackBerry's industry-leading solutions, without having to sacrifice user experience or introduce more complexity into their environments."

Prices range from approximately $23 to $9145 a month, depending on the configuration required and excluding the Good Dynamics licence.

Earlier this year BlackBerry made BES12 (BlackBerry Enterprise Server) available for deployment on Azure.
