Bosch and Hearne partner up in the name of science

By

Bosch Software Innovations, the software and systems house of the Bosch Group, and software firm Hearne Scientific Software have announced a strategic Australian business relationship with a primary focus on the energy, manufacturing and transportation industries.

The two companies said in a statement today that the partnership aims to leverage the Internet of Things to deliver scalable software solutions, and it will concentrate on the delivery of software solutions based on Visual Rules.

Visual Rules is a Business Rules Management software system, characterised by what the companies describe as a intuitive graphical approach. It enables non-technical business users to streamline and automate operational decisions across the organization - without requiring in-depth technical knowledge.

The new deal means Hearne will distribute Bosch's Visual Rules software throughout Australia and New Zealand.

The software integrates with existing technology infrastructure and application landscape to provide robust services enterprise-wide.

Hearnes’ consulting services include development of data visualisation solutions, automation of resource heavy data entry processes and risk management modelling. The company provides training in the use of major software titles and are experts in the field of statistics, engineering, mathematics, econometrics, graphing and data analysis and risk management.

Meanwhile Bosch Software Innovations globally works with clients to address their business challenges and to optimize business processes. The company told iTWire that its IoT software suite comprises core products for Business Process Management, Business Rules Management, and Device Management.

"The holistic suite creates the foundation to address connectivity needs in a networked world, allowing businesses to successfully implement new business models today," the company said.
