ASG scores DBCDE deal

By
WA-based IT services provider ASG has secured a $13 million contract with the Federal Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy (DBCDE).

A major contract will see ASG supply DBCDE with IT and voice services for at least the next three years.

The contract provides for three one-year extensions, and if it runs for the full six years it could be worth more than $13 million to the company if additional project services are delivered.

"This contract win highlights the Department's satisfaction with the flexibility and responsiveness of ASG Group's proposed services and the confidence of the Department to include voice services capability," said Murray Rosa, ASG's chief officer sales and strategic operations.

"ASG Group is particularly pleased to be offering this extended capability in the managed voice area and we will allocate additional resources to the Department including end user support, mid-range infrastructure, voice, network and cross platform services," he added.

Other Federal entities already served by ASG include the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government; the Civil Aviation Safety Authority; the Department of Defence; and Airservices Australia.
