The Kingston XS1000 Red external SSD is the pocket rocket storage you need

By

Global memory and storage manufacturer Kingston says USB storage doesn't have to be bland or meh - its stunning red XS1000 SSD is blazing fast while looking magnificent.

Kingston previously released a black edition of its tiny - under 29g - XS1000 USB-based SSD and re-released it in a stunningly beautiful red colourway for those who like a little more expression. The device retains its sleek and compact design, fitting easily into your bag or pocket.

It's no slouch by any means, with amazing speeds of up to 1,050MB/s and high capacities of up to 2TB of storage. Yes, in the palm of your hand you can carry vast troves of creative content, precious memories, delightful entertainment, essential backups, and more.

The device supports USB 3.2 gen 2, with backwards compatibility for USB 3.2 Gen 1.

With cavernous capacity, with fast read and write, it's an excellent addition to the arsenal for anyone creating or consuming content, or who needs tools-on-the-go, or for lots of different purposes. In short: if you need to store data, no matter what it is, the Kingston XS1000 external SSD is a must. I love the red, but the black is also impressive looking.

Why carry loads of slower USB sticks, or bulky external SSDs, when the XS1000 can be your convenient partner.

And here it is with a wonderful 2TB of capacity. macOS shows it as a yellow icon, but you can see its beautiful red design in my hand in the photo above.

The Kingston KS1000 external SSD is available in both black and red, and in capacities of 1TB and 2TB. The red 2TB model has a retail price of $219 but is available right now for $188.32 from Amazon.
