Instaclustr offers the Redis in-memory database as a fully managed service, saving clients the burden of developing the operational proficiency needed for efficient large-scale use.
That, the company says, allows businesses to focus their internal resources on their applications.
"Redis is particularly powerful open source technology, the leading in-memory solution in the industry, and complementary to the data-layer solutions we're delivering as managed services to our broad customer base," said Instaclustr chief product officer Ben Slater.

"Adding Redis to our list of managed technologies is something our customers have been asking for as it's often used alongside Apache Cassandra, Apache Kafka or Elasticsearch and our customers wanted a Redis managed service meeting the same high standards we set with those technologies."
Instaclustr for Redis covers automated provisioning and deployment: supports AWS, Azure and GCP; offers monitoring and reporting via the Instaclustr management console, APIs or Prometheus; provides 24x7 support; comes with a 99.99% availability SLA for Instaclustr-managed Redis clusters; and is SOC 2 certified.
It can be used under Instaclustr's cloud provider account with a fixed infrastructure-inclusive cost, or under the customer's cloud provider account, in which case a per-node management fee applies.
