Epos launches new modern meeting room solutions with a video bar, tablet, and take-anywhere webcam

By

Epos has released a new vision for the modern meeting room to maximise the collaborative potential of professionals navigating new work setups, and a conference webcam that goes wherever you do.

Premium audio brand Epos has brought its engineering and design expertise - with over a century of experience - to new meeting room solutions, and to a portable experience, all ensuring the maximum conference and collaboration experience whether in the meeting room or calling in.

These come in the form of three brand-new devices:

The EXPAND Vision 5 - a cutting-edge video bar with powerful speakers, a wide-angle 4K camera, noise-cancelling microphones, and compute capability. It provides an all-in-one video conferencing solution for meeting rooms. The camera uses AI to dynamically adjust its focus to ensure everybody in the room can be seen clearly, while the beamforming microphone array picks up voices crisply and minimises the interference of poor meeting room acoustics.

The unit has flexible mounting options and can be managed and updated remotely using the EPOS Manager software. It is certified for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android, RingCentral Rooms, and Zoom Rooms and has a one-touch join function to make joining any meeting effortless. The EXPAND Vision 5 also connects via USB to any PC or Mac.

The EXPAND Control tablet can be used as a room scheduling panel, and also as a meeting room controller to join meetings, adjust call settings, and share content. It works in combination with the EXPAND Vision 5 to give your users effortless meeting room control. It can pair seamlessly with EPOS EXPAND Vision video conferencing solutions and offers a large 10.1” anti-glare screen.

“We believe workers should be equipped with meeting room solutions that help improve their performance and reduce cognitive overload, especially when spending hours in meetings day-in-day-out. Video conferencing should be a straightforward experience, free from the distractions and inconveniences caused by disjointed tech solutions. With the launch of the EXPAND Vision 5, we’re delivering on that vision, with a product that is designed for your brain while still being easy to use, reliable and built to last,” said EPOS VP product management Theis Mørk.

The EXPAND Vision 1 Web Camera is EPOS' first personal webcam and is a conference-grade camera that goes where you do. The camera is compact and portable, USB-driven, and delivers ultra-sharp 4K video and exceptional voice pickup through two omnidirectional noise-cancelling microphones. It is also certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom, and provides a flawless user experience and trusted stamp of approval.

The unit also features a smart floating menu allowing you to adjust the field of view, light, and colour within seconds. It has a mounting clip designed to fit any monitor and offers adjustable height and angle. It comes with a carrying case for protection when transporting.

The EXPAND Vision 5 video bar and EXPAND Vision 1 web camera both come with streamlined cable management solutions.

“As we continue to develop new Meeting Room Solutions and technologies to assist users and businesses in their hybrid-work journeys, it was important for EPOS to introduce a personal conference camera into our ever-growing product lineup. Building on the success of the EXPAND Vision 3T, the EXPAND Vision 1 makes it easier than ever for users to elevate their personal meetings,” Mørk said.
