Rockstar beats PSP

By
The PlayStation Portable is set to host the new version of Beaterator with music mixing and rhythm based gameplay.

Emerging from the original web-based music mixing program, Rockstar games (creators of the critically acclaimed Grand Theft Auto series amongst others) is on board to bring Beaterator to the PSP this summer (Northern hemisphere).

Featuring a huge bank of stock sounds, range of musical effects over eight sequencing tracks with a two-octave keyboard amongst other tune crafting tools, Beaterator is set to squeeze as much as possible from the PSP speakers.

Rockstar have enlisted the hip-hop skills of Timbaland to bring this title to the shelves.

"I've always been a huge fan of Rockstar and love playing their games," said Timbaland. "I'm thrilled to be partnering with them and making music for Beaterator. I cannot wait to get this in the hands of our fans!"

Expect rhythm challenges as well as a set of original music from Timbaland to blast the ear-drums of PSP players and fellow commuters alike.
