Two new GMs at Pronto

ERP vendor Pronto Software has appointed Anthony Nicholl as general manager of its South Australia division, and promoted Malcolm Ferguson to the role of general manager for Victoria and Tasmania.

"I am very pleased to announce the new appointments of both Anthony and Malcolm," said chief operating officer Chad Gates.

"I am confident the strong business acumen of both executives combined with their industry expertise will only accelerate Pronto's solid growth momentum moving forward."

Nicholl (pictured right) joins the company from ADRAD Group, where he was general manager, aftermarket.

"Adelaide is my home and I'm delighted to head up the operation here in South Australia," he said.

"I'm very much looking forward to playing a strong role in contributing towards Pronto's future, as well as working with the many growing customers across the state and opening the doors to more mid-market companies based in the region."

Ferguson (pictured left) was promoted from a sales position at Pronto, and has previously worked for other software vendors including Oracle, HP and IBM.

"Over the last 25 years, I have gained extensive industry and enterprise level software experience. In my new position, I look forward to leveraging this experience and playing a leading role in Pronto's growth within these business regions," he said.

"Today, businesses are easily able to capture data however being able to interpret that data is the real challenge. I look forward to helping our customers better leverage their data to enable smarter operational decisions every hour of every day."
