Mehra leads Lenovo's infrastructure solutions group

Hardware and services provider Lenovo has appointed Manu Mehra to the role of managing director for its infrastructure solutions group in Australia and New Zealand.

"We are really excited to welcome Manu as the managing director for ANZ to drive the next level of business growth in the region," said Lenovo APAC infrastructure solutions group president Sumir Bhatia.

"He joins us at the right time as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of Lenovo ThinkSystem with the broadest portfolio launch in our history with 50+ new and enhanced products to accelerate the new era of IT. ANZ is a critical market for us and Manu's expertise and seasoned leadership will help us accelerate digital transformation in the market and drive successful customer and alliance partnerships".

Mehra joins the company from Nutanix, where he worked as regional director.

His previous roles include ANZ regional director of public cloud at DXC Technology, South Pacific managing director of HPE Financial Services, APAC general manager of HP's telco industry enterprise group, and head of financial services sales at EDS.

Mehra holds a bachelor's degree in electrical and electronic engineering, and a master's in mathematics, bot from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (India).
